Gail Petersen, Ph.D.

Gail Petersen, a principal with the Green Resource Group works in the areas of strategy, leadership and management skill development and leading virtual teams. Gail also specializes in change strategies, research, and implementation programs supporting strategic initiatives, mergers, and streamlined operations. She has advised executives in such diverse industries as: manufacturing, consumer products, advertising, banking, and pharmaceuticals.

Representative clients have included: Boeing, Sabre, Inc., General Dynamics, Advanced Micro Devices, The Dial Corp, Deloitte Touche, Tohmatsu International, Mobil, Eli Lilly, and Pacific Bell. Gail has also taught through Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and is currently visiting professor at the American Graduate School of International Management--Thunderbird.

Gail previously worked with Deloitte & Touche, one of the "Big 6" public accounting firms, where she directed senior-level leadership programs and was a member of the firm's Development and Retention Task Force, a major human resources initiative. Before joining Deloitte & Touche, Gail was with Goodrich & Sherwood, a human resources consulting firm.

Prior to her corporate experience, Gail served on the faculty at the Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies of Adelphi University (New York) which is nationally renowned for its doctoral training in psychology. In her five years there, she taught doctoral seminars, published numerous articles, and supervised doctoral research.

Gail earned her Ph.D. degree in psychology from Vanderbilt University.
